I booked this stay for my dog and I for a night after a long day of hiking. It was so relaxing and a much needed escape. If you want a host that genuinely values their guests experience and is prompt with communication, this is the place for you! I am definitely rebooking next time I venture to hocking hills.
Nice private cabin!
The place is great- it was 4th weekend so over priced- but expected. Ryan is very responsive. And this is a great cabin. Very private. Two things- 10am check out is one thing- but after reneging on late checkout for a fee and cleaner showing up early- didn't sit right. At $500+ for 18 hours (4 check in). I want my 18 hours. Secondly- I am tired of being pressured by people to leave good reviews because they have a family they need to support, or otherwise. He stated this many times throughout the stay. How he and his wife have a baby. He's in his 30s (seemingly) is some kind of professional, and owns a rental property. He chose this for supplementary income. Earn 5 stars on the merits of the stay. Not by guilt. Or pressure. It's tacky- and between the two just left me feeling ick, not relaxed by the end of the stay.
This was a great place to stay. We enjoyed being close to town yet close to the visitor hot spots as well. the hot tub and sauna are a nice touch for a romantic get away.
